Dental Implants and 3D Imaging Technology

Dental Implants and 3D Imaging Technology

These are not just fancy words. Technology has definitely made dentistry less invasive as well as faster. All benefits for our patients. In fact, it takes less time to place a properly planned implant than to do a root canal!

With a 3D cone and beam scan (3D Imaging)and using guided surgery techniques, we do not have to guess where the bone is under the gum. The scan provides this information for us in advance of the surgery. For our Houston dental implants when using Cone and Beam and the guided surgery, there is minimal post operative sensitivity. This is one of the great benefits that we can offer our dental implant patients.

Professionally, technology allows me to plan implant cases out prior to surgery which dramatically improves the success of the case.

Please call our office, Ronald W. Konig DDS, FAGD, LVIF if you have any questions regarding Houston dental implants or Houston TMJ pain. 713-666-2289
