Special Dental Porcelain Veneers
Special Dental Porcelain Veneers
There are many criteria that go into porcelain veneers and that affects the outcome and ultimate success of dental porcelain veneers.
All porcelain veneers are not the same and it is the cosmetic dentists responsibility to define the size, length and shape of the veneers that are being fabricated. This is not all, the texture, anatomy, color layering scheme, embrasure space, and even the design of the translucency of the case.
When designing our Houston porcelain veneers, each factor is designed based on the indivual and what works for that patient or rather what the patient desires as well.
I personally artistically recontour every case to achieve the added artistic and natural appearance. Note the case in the after photo is not flat all the way across like old denture teeth were set. The have space between the edges of the teeth and also some some varying lengths which was decided was best for this patient to fulfill her desires. Note also how beautifully the follow the lip line.
